The Family Support Center has many Volunteer Opportunities available. To be successful, we rely heavily on the assistance of our wonderful volunteers. Come join our team!
Clothes Closet and Food Pantry Organizer/Shopper - help sort and organize donations and assist families in choosing food and clothing.
Volunteer Coordinator - Train and support all of our wonderful volunteers!
Computer Lab - Help staff the computer lab, 1:1 tutoring support for students, assistance with college applications, scholarships, FAFSA, etc.
Greeter - greet children, families and visitors to the Wichita Center for Family and Community. Also assist the Family Support Center and our partners with other tasks!
Resource Specialist - Help us keep our resource information up-to-date! This can be done at home or at the Family Support Center.
Lunch Buddy Mentor - Impact the life of a child by mentoring them during your lunch hour once a week!

Back-to-School Volunteers - Help students shop for clothing and get school supplies! Volunteers are needed to shop, organize donations, greet families, and help with keeping students entertained while they wait! Volunteers are needed August 23-September 2, M-F, 8am-4:30pm. We'd like to get volunteers signed up before we leave for the summer on June 30th, so please call now to sign-up for a shift! We prefer volunteers to sign up for a 2-4 hour shift. Please remember that all volunteers need to have a completed application and background check before they can volunteer!
