Before you give us a call here are a few helpful tips that can save you time and frustration:

Cord PileCheck the cords.  Check that all of the cables and cords are properly plugged in and seated in the device.  If possible unplug and plug them back in (avoid doing this with the power cord if the device is on).

Restart the device.  If it is a computer, restart the computer as you normally would.  If the computer isn't responding, push and hold the power button for 10+ seconds until the screen turns off and there are no visible lights.  If you release the button to early, the computer will not turn off but go into a "sleep mode" and return to the exact same screen as when you turned it off. 

If you are having issues with a program or site on the internet try using a different browser.  If it doesn't work in Safari, try it in Firefox and vice versa.
