ACE

Students in the CAD program have the opportunity to participate in the ACE Mentor Program.

Founded in Portland in 2006, ACEs Oregon affiliate gives high school students an exciting and informative way to learn about career possibilities in architecture, engineering and construction.Students get to tour construction sites, visit professional office, and work on projects that simulate real-life situations. In addition, ACE Portland awards various scholarships to students wishing to pursue a post high school course of study leading to a career in the industry.

NAWIC

CAD students also participate in the NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) national CAD competition each year. This is an extensive project with student work being judged by members of the architecture and construction fields.
