How do I log into Student Assistant?
You must have a username and password.  Log on to Student Assist using the following URL.   This link is listed under the STUDENTS tab on the HVMS home page.

What information can I access in Student Assistant?
Students can only access classroom grades and individual assignment marks.

Should I use Student Assistant to communicate with teachers?
No.  Please do not use the “Messages” function of Student Assistant.  All students and staff members have a Google Mail account.  The easiest and most efficient mode of electronic communication is Gmail.

How often should I check my grades?
Generally, grades are updated in eSIS every two weeks.  Please be patient as some assignments take a great amount of time and effort to grade and enter.  When in doubt, check with your teacher and ask, “When will you be updating our grades in eSIS?"

Can someone else gain access or change my information?
No. Each student is assigned a unique username and password. This gives only you access to your information. Please ensure that you protect your username and password.

My username and password are not working, what should I do?

You should contact the main office. They can confirm your password and can also reset it if necessary.

How do I log off the Student Assistant system when I am finished?

Please click on the "Log Off" button in the upper right corner of your window.  Then just close your browser.

When can I check my grades?

You can check your grades whenever your computer has connectivity.  At school, you can check grades before school in the computer lab, room 227.
