This I Believe, Audio Essays

After the completion of a month long writing project called This I Believe, we are proud to share a collection of audio essays from our students! Our writing project is rooted in the belief that by sharing our collective stories we can grow together, learn from each other, celebrate writing and storytelling, and continue a rich tradition.

The writing prompt for this year was “I’ve learned," and as you will hear, students shared captivating stories about how they came to learn one of life's many lessons. These essays are honest, powerful, personal, and at times absolutely hilarious.

Essay were recorded by a volunteer group of parents, staff members, and students. Click on the chapter titles to the left to hear the various lessons our students have learned. All essays were submitted and published anonymously.
