MAA Core Academic Program

MAA is foremost an Arts Academy and has a unique integrative model of instruction “In and Through the Arts”. It maintains a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for acceptance and success in post-secondary instructional institutions. MAA has a strong commitment to “four core years” of academic instruction in math, science, language arts, and social science and it expectation is that all students will adhere to this program as a condition of successful graduation from MAA while enjoying the availability of elective, college credit, and advanced placement classes through Milwaukie High School and Sabin Schellenberg Professional and Technical Center.
