Notes from the Nurse... Nurse

Hi!
I am the school nurse assigned to Ardenwald. The nurses in our school district all have several school assignments. For 2008/2009 I also serve Wichita, Seth Lewelling and Milwaukie High School. I am at Ardenwald just one half day per week. If I am not available, you can always leave me a voice message or ask the secretary to reach me in an emergency. I can help with medical advice or resources.

Immunization updates:

Students entering kindergarten will need:

Dtap, polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella (chickenpox) and Hepatitis A to start school.
7th grade students now need a Tdap. This is a tetanus booster that now includes pertussis. It is best to have this requirement completed by the time your student finishes 6th grade so this will not have to be done in middle school.
