Meet the Principal, Karen Rush

Welcome to Scouters Mountain! I am thrilled to be the principal of one of North Clackamas School District's newest elementary schools. I have been an elementary school principal in North Clackamas for 10 years, and prior to that was a district school psychologist for 3 years. Being a part of this school has been a dream come true and I can't believe how great it is to come to school every day and see the smiling faces of your children.

Our school mission statement has a focus on creating a positive and welcoming school environment where every member of the community works together to create strong minds, strong bodies, and strong character. We celebrate our successes and are reassured that we are able to meet any of the goals we set as a community.
