Dress for Success

“DRESS FOR SUCCESS”
The View Acres Dress Code

All students at View Acres are expected to "dress for success" in clothing styles appropriate to their age and grade level. The school staff will prohibit student dress or grooming practices that present a hazard to the health or safety of the student or to others in the school; create disorder or disrupt the educational program; interferes with the learning process for all students.

Any clothing that advertises alcohol, drugs, violent themes, profane, suggestive or destructive behavior/characteristics and remarks will not be permitted.
See-through and/or low cut garments, tops that expose the midriff at any time, halter tops and garments with spaghetti straps are not appropriate school attire.
Pants are to be worn at the waist, not the hip. Undergarments are not to be exposed. Pants should not be dragging on the floor.
Clothing that has excessive rips or tears is not permitted.
Gang related clothing or paraphernalia is not acceptable.
Flip-flops and open toed sandals are not safe or recommended for playground play.
Parents will be asked to bring clothing for students inappropriately dressed.
