Volunteering at View Acres vaepto@gmail.com PTO Co-Volunteer Coordinators: Terry Foreman & Micki Goldstein
A good place to find out about volunteering at View Acres is at a PTO meeting. PTO meetings are the third Thursday evening of the month. The hour you spend helping other View Acres parents make decisions about our school counts toward your total volunteer hours! Just 100 hours of volunteer time earns you your own lanyard for your volunteer name tag!
We welcome adult volunteers to View Acres at any time. The District requires that every volunteer, including parents and legal guardians, fill out a volunteer application. This application asks for references and information for a criminal background check. Once a volunteer has been checked and approved, the volunteer is cleared for three years. This requirement is for all classroom volunteers, as well as volunteers for field trips. We appreciate you help ensuring the safety of our students at View Acres.
All visitors must check in at the office. In the interest of student safety and security, we ask that you wear a volunteer badge while you are in the building. These badges let the students and staff know that you belong here.

Thanks to our many dedicated volunteers. You make View Acres a special place to be!
