K-Kids / Overview

K-Kids

Whitcomb K-Kids

K-Kids is a student-led community service organization. Students work with adults from our local Kiwanis club, Clackamas Sunrisers Kiwanis, in service to our school and community. Students meet Mondays after school.

Past service projects include:

Graffiti clean-up on community walls
Litter patrol on school grounds
Collecting toiletry items for Annie Ross House
Fundraising for Doernbecher Children's Hospital

At each K-Kids meeting, the students recite the K-Kids pledge:

"As a K-Kid, I promise to serve my neighborhood and my school; I will show respect toward my environment; and I will try to make the world a better place in which to live."
