Community Services

For over 40 years, the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center has offered the students of North Clackamas School District the chance to explore career-related electives. One key element  for many programs here at SSC is the  opportunity for students to expand their knowledge base through participation in one of many student-operated businesses, or hands-on program application. Our students expand their culinary expertise in Verte', a student deli & catering opportunity; business, marketing, and management skills in the Courtside Convenience student store; or customer service professionalism in our cosmetology salon and automotive services shop. Other opportunities abound; whether observing Early Childhood Education in our on-site preschool; interning in a hospital  to get a first-hand look at medicine in action; raising farm animals -- on a working farm; or scaling a forest of trees while studying our eco-system.

Much of the success of the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center depends on support from the community and businesses alike.
As we continue to foster community awareness, we invite you to join our growing list of ongoing business-education partnerships by participating as program advisory committee members, volunteers in our classrooms, or providing opportunities for student internships.

Philanthropic contributions can transform the lives of Sabin-Schellenberg students as well, through scholarships, leadership opportunities, and classroom learning with state of the art technology.
