CARE K-5th - Ardenwald, Happy Valley, Oak Grove, Oregon Trail
Care sites are located at several schools throughout the North Clackamas School District. Focused on providing before and after school care for K-5th grade students. The program is self funded and run by North Clackamas employees.
The Care centers are fun for kids with activities, games, snacks, and lots of things to keep young minds and bodies active. Our caring staff of professionals will provide each child with special care and guide them in social, emotional, and intellectual development. Transportation is also provided if a Care site is not located at your neighborhood school. District buses are used to transport your child to and from school each day.
FUSION 4th & 5th - Wichita
During FUSION, students can participate in open game room, arts and crafts, gym time, computer lab, and joining different clubs such as Lego Club, Fine Arts, Cooking, Pokemon and more. Every day, students participate in Power Hour where they do their homework, receive homework help if needed, eat a snack and read for 30 minutes.
At this time, transportation by bus from the schools is only provided for Ardenwald, Linwood/Sojourner, Seth Lewelling, Milwaukie/El Puente and Lot Whitcomb Elementary schools. Any students that do not attend the six schools listed above are still welcome to transport their own student to the Wichita Center for Family & Community.
GAMEON 4th & 5th - Riverside
At this time, transportation is provided from Bilquist, Oak Grove, and View Acres Elementary schools only. You are responsible to notify the school for transporting your student to GAME ON. Any students that do not attend the three schools listed above are still welcome to transport their own student to Riverside Elementary. They will be engaged in many different enrichment activities, homework help, STEM, sports and clubs at GAME ON.
CAMP WICHITA 4th, 5th & 6th
Kids will be engaged in activities all day such as physical fitness, team games, individual time, sports activities, arts & crafts and much, much more. Lunch and snacks are provided.
Recognizing that school facilities are a focal point for community life, The North Clackamas School District's facilities are available for community use. The district seeks to cooperate with community organizations and individuals who wish to use schools for worthy educational, cultural, social, recreational and civic purposes.
Safety Town is a comprehensive safety education program for children entering kindergarten and first grade. It includes fire safety, pedestrian & bicycle safety, poisons, stranger danger, water & gun safety, and much more. Three 8 day sessions will be offered during the summer months.
