High schools offer a full slate of performing arts programs, with eight of the nine band, orchestra & choir programs qualifying for last year's state competition.

State Schools Superintendent Susan Castillo announced that Concord Elementary School in the North Clackamas District has been named a 2011 Title 1 Distinguished School, a national honor. The program honors schools across the country for their innovation in helping low-income students achieve at high levels.
