About This Project

Whitcomb Elementary is undergoing a major renovation that includes adding a new wing of 4 classrooms allowing the modular classrooms onsite to be removed. Interior spaces are being reorganized and will allow for a new music room, media center, community room, staff room and front office. In addition, all classrooms and interior hallways are being modernized with new flooring and paint, and the kitchen is being upgraded. The outside classroom pods and the gym will become accessible via new interior hallways, thus creating a more inclusive feel to the school.

Parents and visitors will see an upgraded parking lot, which will improve traffic flow and create a safe passageway for students. Previously unfunded maintenance and infrastructure improvements funded by this bond include a fire sprinkler system, boiler and HVAC repairs, and upgraded technology access.
