Milwaukie High School
Project Status: Completed
One of the largest and most complex of the capital bond-funded projects, Milwaukie High School will have its 1925-era main building demolished and replaced with a modern, properly sized, energy-efficient and seismically sound building that will allow for better connection to the campus’ other building. Additionally, the administration and cafeteria will be remodeled, along with addressing other deferred capital projects, such as replying the emergency generator and upgrading the school’s heating/cooling system, roofing, seismic upgrades to the gymnasium, and new paint. Athletic facilities are also slated for upgrades, including new baseball and softball fields, a resurfaced track, replacement of the artificial turf, and additional parking, among other improvements.
Demolition/Construction start - June 2018
Tentative Completion - School building: August 2020, Stadium field and track: November 2020
