Capital Construction Bond 2026

Superintendent's Bond Advisory Committee (SBAC)

North Clackamas School District had a very successful bond program from the 2016 election. We are now planning our next capital construction bond proposal for the November 2026 ballot. This is a multi-step process which began with our Long Range Facility Plan 2023. After completing our Long Range Facility Plan, reviewing the facility needs of our district, and gathering feedback from our community in the Spring of 2025, North Clackamas School District recently launched the Superintendent's Bond Advisory Committee. This committee, which will meet multiple times between September 2025 and January 2026, will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our school district's facilities. Additionally, several focus groups and surveys will provide further community feedback. This data and the committee's work will directly impact the educational environment for our students and the long-term financial planning for our community. The Bond Advisory Committee will review our district's facility needs and make recommendations to the superintendent regarding the proposed bond. The district will continue to share updates on the Committee's work and seek community input on its proposal throughout the Spring of 2026.

Periodically, you will find updates and information on our facilities on this page. In addition, we are working on a Frequently Asked Questions section that will likely address many questions that may surface. Please feel free to share this link for all those interested in learning more about the future bond.

Capital Improvement Planning

The below document summarizes the Long Range Facility Plan 2023 (LRFP) for North Clackamas School District (NCSD). The purpose of the Long Range Facilities Plan is to align NCSD’s capital improvement projects with the district’s operational needs, educational goals, and enrollment projections in compliance with ORS 195.110. The Long Range Facility Plan was developed using a comprehensive, multi-pronged process spanning over a year. Major activities included:

  • Completion of comprehensive building condition assessments.
  • Educational adequacy assessments of all schools.
  • 10-year enrollment projections.
  • Development of a capital improvement plan (CIP) outlining the District’s facilities priorities over the next ten years.
