Budget Committee

This committee’s role is to present the annual budget proposal to the School Board. The committee meets once or twice a month from January to June of each year. Membership includes all seven elected School Board members plus seven community members appointed by the Board. This group of community volunteers works to raise and distribute funds to support arts education, classroom grants, and college scholarships. To get involved or make a contribution, contact Executive Director Stephanie Rose at 503-353-6053.

Parent Community Leadership Alliance 

The Parent Community Leadership Alliance (PCLA) is comprised of school district parents and community members.  PCLA members meet with the Superintendent and other designated district staff to engage the community in conversations and create partnerships that enhances the quality of North Clackamas Schools.

Working in partnership with the school district, the PCLA assists parents and community members in their understanding of the District's goals and needs, critical grade level transitions, and other areas identified by the parents and community.  The PCLA also partners with the school district on district projects to garner parent and community member engagement and input.

School Board

The School Board is a group of seven elected volunteers who make budget and policy decisions about North Clackamas Schools. Individually, each contributes hundreds of hours each year attending Board and Committee meetings, public events, and school events. Board meetings are open to the public and are held second and fourth Thursdays, usually starting at 6:30 p.m. in the district Boardroom at 12400 SE Freeman Way or via Zoom. School Site Councils

These groups work in each school to develop the school improvement plan, staff development plans, and collaborative decision-making. Required by Oregon state law, councils include the principal, teachers, other staff members, parents, and community members. All meetings are open to the public.
