Welcome to our 4th annual virtual College & Career Fair! Below you will find the session times and descriptions.  Click on the session title to attend the Zoom presentation.  Sessions will focus on potential future pathways, financial aid, and career talks.  Choose one session per time slot.  We will record and post sessions at a later date for those who aren't able to join all of the sessions they'd like to attend.

  • The reasons consider an HBCU as an option for college

With a focus on apprenticeship, Oregon Tradeswomen’s Pathways to Success program offers a Trades and Apprenticeship Career Class (TACC), a 192-hour apprenticeship and employment readiness training program to prepare adult jobseekers for a career in the skilled construction trades. TACC introduces program participants to a variety of skilled trades through field trips, guest speakers, hands-on workdays, and trades-specific training opportunities. The participants also learn about registered apprenticeship, an “earn while you learn model” which is often the next step to career pathways in the construction industry.

Are you thinking about a career but aren’t sure what post secondary path will get you there?  Do you enjoy a subject in high school but wonder which careers use these skills?  Do you have a lot of ideas (or no ideas!) and want to hear what people have to say about their job to see if they sound intriguing? Explore several fields by listening to leaders from these career paths!
 
 
College and University Talks: 
 
College and University Representative: Representatives will provide an overview of their academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admission procedures of their college. Student questions are welcome!  20 Questions to Ask College Representatives can provide a starting point.
