2023-24 State Testing Schedule

Under the Student Assessment Bill of Rights, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and Oregon’s school districts must provide families with a “Notice of Statewide Tests and Opt-out Form” 30 days before the start of statewide testing.

The state test window in English Language Arts and Mathematics for high school students opens February 6, 2024. The window for English Language Arts and Mathematics for students in grades 3-8 opens April 2, 2024. 

Each school will share the specific dates they will administer tests.

30-day Notice for Statewide Tests 2023-24. Opt-out forms will be posted here when they have been published by ODE.
